General Information:
It is designed to outline the role and services provided by French Property Register It is of particular relevance to those intending to purchase property in France for rental income or as a personal home.
We are not estate agents. However, we hold a register of hundreds of homes supplied by registered agents in all quarters of the region. Our function is to act on your behalf to source the ideal property and then guide you on all stages of purchase. We work in conjunction with only registered agents who are established members of FNAIM (your guarantee of protection) in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. We have a partnership with 100s of real estate agencies that we have selected for their reputable work.
Our service to you is free, you do not pay us retainers or commissions. We receive our income directly from the agent who charges the seller commission on the final settlement of the sale.
If you have visited this region of France and wish to use our services then please provide us with as much information as you can. Rough guide to location plus minimum and maximum budgets and other points you may consider important. Then leave the rest to us.
We will locate and inspect the most appropriate homes or apartments as per your instructions so that on your return all time wasting has been eliminated.
We will collect you from your hotel (we can recommend the most appropriate ones) and along with the agents will visit each property. A visit normally takes about 45 minutes.

It is really important to see the entire property even if, at first sight, you think that it won’t be the good one : it is as well a matter of courtesy towards the owner who has taken time for us, as a good way to have more details about your preferences.
It should be noted that in the entire region very few agents have a basic knowledge of English. We will handle all conversations between you. The same applies with the legal discussions and banks.
Languedoc-Roussillon is France's largest wine growing region and is made up of 5 departments reaching from the Spanish border south of Perpignan in the Pyrenees Orientales through Aude, Herault, Lozere and Gard and enjoys over 300 days of sunshine every year!
The principal towns are Montpellier, Nimes Beziers, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Perpignan. These cities are serviced by air links from London, Manchester, Liverpool, East Midlands, Dublin, Southampton, Bournemouth and Blackpool. The motorways A61 and A9 provide equally good road connections and the rail network is the comprehensive TGV service, from Perpignan to Montpellier and on to Paris and London.
We act on your behalf, we source and filter properties then guide you through the whole process of the purchase, working in conjunction with our registered real estate agents, banks and Notaires.
